All good things...

It's been fun building and maintaining this site, but I must confess that hosting is a tad pricey and I am looking to make some cuts. Anyone who has followed me (There aren't many of you) probably know that I am getting more mileage out of facebook and as a result this site has suffered much neglect over the past year.

With that in mind I'll be going low-budget, and step one has been to migrate this blog to a free site so that it can live on and be posted to occasionally when I have something to say that is too long-winded for facebook.

One of the things that has afflicted this blog was a lack of focus. That is to say, who in the @#$#% was I writing it for, anyway? It seems that the people who visit this site fall under one of two categories: Either they know me and are actually interested in my dull personal life or they have no idea who I am and just stumbled across the site in a google search for hunting or fishing. With that in mind I have created two sites, with the content specialized to suit each group.

People who know me and want to know what dorky things I am up to and what my kids look like should go here:

http://thenygaardfamily.blogspot.com

This site has all of my posts going back to 2005
(Not that I honestly expect you to read them).

People who have no idea who I am and only stumbled across this site while Googling for ideas on how to build a rod tube or an ice fishing house, or other random outdoors writings should go here:

http://woodsnwater.blogspot.com

It has all of my outdoors posts and less of the irrelevant (To you, at least) stuff.

Thanks everyone - This site will be up for a little longer and then one day, ::poof::

You've been warned.
